About Clarkdale Kayak Company

Clarkdale Kayak Company was founded in 2016 by Scott and Allison Buckley, who turned their love of the Verde River into one of the Verde Valley’s favorite outdoor adventures. For a decade, they welcomed paddlers from around the world, sharing the beauty of Arizona’s last free-flowing river and building a reputation for friendly, safe, and unforgettable trips.

In May 2026, Ryan and Leila Glass proudly purchased the company, carrying that legacy forward with the same passion for the river and commitment to top-notch guest experiences. Under their ownership, Clarkdale Kayak Company has joined the Dream West Adventures family — uniting with the legendary Blazin’ M Ranch and Blazin’ Escape Rooms to create the Verde Valley’s premier collection of adventures and entertainment.

Today, that means more ways than ever to play: paddle the Verde by day, crack the code at our escape rooms, then cap it all off with a chuckwagon supper and Western show at the ranch. And we’re just getting started — new Dream West Adventures offerings are on the horizon.
